Well it's just loaded ... might still be processing but I've made another video. This time showing the benefits of a Molly Mac loaded for tool carrying and trail work.

Oh yeah ... and I documented a little known feature of the carbon fiber model ... sorry Mac ... couldn't keep it a secret any longer! ;)

NOTE: On line but HD hasn't processed yet

Great video! If you set the pack down but inadvertently fasten that sternum buckle, how do you find the pack again?:rolleyes::laugh:

Actually, that stealth pack is a prototype... I wanted Hawk-eye to try it first, because I wasn't sure if, once you go behind a tree, you could reliably return!

Glad to see you got back ok, Hawk-eye!

...

You with the tree trick, shug with the high speed zoom...the bar for videos here at HF is raised again. What am I to do?

we HF video makers all got it bad, maybe there's a support group for us.

No, come to think of it, don't want a support group for ME, now my long-suffering wife, she maybe could use some support. Those bright blue eyes of hers roll every time I start another video project.

Keep on raising that bar Hawk-eye, push it as high as you can!

Ha ... I've seen the same thing ... yeah we might have to get them all a support group going! The look, the eye roll ... the shake of the head ... I've seen it! Even the dog is questioning why I sit and talk to that camera. They all consider me a bit daft!

Looking forward to you next videos Griz! Feed the addiction!

Good video! I like the top secret feature. Maybe one day he can make it teleport you from the trailhead to your camp spot!

I noticed in the credits that you say John MacEntyre Adams, should be Allen. Just in case anyone is keeping score! :-)

Yeah that was a typo ... I was hoping no one would see it till I could get a chance to reload it. That's what you get when you slip a keystroke and blindly let Spell checker do your correcting! You be the only one that read the credits I guess! ;)

Sorry, couldn't resist! I thought maybe I had been calling him by the wrong name all this time! I had to go look it up to be sure.

I need to get up there and go see your gorge, sounds like a special place!

Ha ... I just blame it on Mad Cow Disease! I only call him Mac anyway!
Yeah the gorge is a wonderful place for sure. You're more that welcome up any time you can. Let us know and any number of us would like to get together with you.

One of the guys that frequents Ken's site and we've hiked with (Marshal) did a hike up there this past Saturday and posted some wonderful pictures of the cliffs and ice.

You can see them on his flickr site HERE (http://www.flickr.com/photos/33252703@N08/sets/72157622995128790/show/)

I took the whimp's way out and annodated the uploaded video instead of trying to upload the corrected video ... takes forever! You get much over five minutes and a YOUTUBE video can occupy a lot of your PC's time! ;)

Great video. Any chance of seeing one detailing how the PALS/MOLLE pouches are attached?

Actually as soon as Mac gets one of each of his designs made ... he and I are going to do a break down on each and all the features. But to answer your question ... there are two straps incorporated into each pouch. these go around fully each pouch and through the series of PALS on the pack panel back to the top and over. The two ends clip to the other end of the same strap. So the straps hold the pouch on and secure the pouches top flap. Very clever rig.

And thanks ... glad you liked my foolishness ;)

Actually, I've changed how the pouches are attached. I added long tails on the back to weave through the PALS array.

As Hawk-eye said, he has agreed to help me detail the bits and pieces of the MMP as soon as I can get another pair of them made!

Here is a nice vid by nutnfancy on how to weave MOLLE gear into the PALS array. This bag uses hypalon PALS instead of nylon webbing, but it is the same either way.

And I thought that Animal Control was the only person with a magical ring. I see that there is more than one way to skin a dragon when he is sleeping...just order a magical sternum attachment from MacEntyre and then go find a sleeping dragon. Frodo and Gollum would be jealous, and the sorta dead kings would be hunting you when you went invisible.:lol::lol:

Very well thought out and filmed video Hawk-Eye. Paused to see close up on how the gear was connected—looks real good. Hope you can get the detailed break downs done soon...
