Welcome to the Forum!
Are you already a hanger, or looking to become one?

Welcome! As you know, there's some amazing country between you and the AT. Give a shout if you're interested in a hike in the Cranberry (or Dolly Sods, or Laurel Fork, or Seneca Creek, or Otter Creek ....)

Whooooooo-buddy! Another WV hammocker. What? That makes 5 or so? We're definitely a minority with all the tent campers in the state.

Welcome to the forum, GrubbyJohn.

Welcome. You may find hangin' so comfortable that you'll want to start your 10 year plan over again!

There is a spring hang (there's a fall one, too) at Gathland State Park in MD that is on the AT. It's called the MAHHA hang (Mid-Atlantic Hammock Hangers Association) and a couple of WV folks (Happy Camper, WVHammockmaker, etc) usually attend. It's a great place to meet hammockers and learn about/see/try out a lot of different hammocks and hammock related gear. Watch HammockFourums for announcement of the next one. BugBait is the organizer.
