*** This Item is Sold***

I'm selling my Osprey Aether 60 because its too much volume for me and I'm not using it now that I got an Atmos 50. It's 60L in volume. I purchased in 2003/2004 but probably only used this pack 7 or 8 times. It's in mint condition except for a few scratches on the hood. This is a singe compartment pack, top loading only. There is a large mesh pocket on the front and compression straps to tighten the load. There are mesh pockets on each side for water bottles or whatever you need quick access to on the trail. It has a full suspension with padded hip belt, load lifters, and sternum strap. The shoulder straps feature adjustable height for different torso lengths. It has a hood for additional storage and compression. This does not have aluminum stayes, instead, it has a fiberglass pole that goes around the perimeter for lighter weight and greater comfort. I'm posting it here because its a great first internal frame pack or upgrade from your current model. The current model of this pack retails for $230 but I think this only retailed for $200 when I purchased. I'm asking $75 because it's in excellent condition and barely used. Please feel free to pm me if you have any questions. For fit purposes, please keep in mind that I am 6-4 and at the upper limit of the size range for this pack. This would probably fit someone around 6' best depending on your torso length. You should probably consult the fit chart on the manufacturer's web site before purchasing. http://www.hammockforums.net/gallery/files/4/2/0/3/img_2349.jpghttp://www.hammockforums.net/gallery/files/4/2/0/3/img_2350.jpg

75 would be a deal, it looks brand new.

The price is $75 + Shipping. I know its a good deal but I got a good deal on it when I bought it and I just deducted what I thought was the value of my use so I could pass along a good deal to someone who will use it. Its been in my closet without any use for over a year! The sale is pending with Stonehooligan. Mule has first right of refusal if it falls through. Thanks for all the interest!

I thought I would take it until i read that it's for a 6 foot hiker. Too larger for my son, whom I was buying it for.

Its size medium. You would want to consult the osprey fit chart http://www.ospreypacks.com/PackTech/SizingandFitting which says 18 to 20.5" torso length.

and torso length is not always correlated with height; be sure to measure!

Agreed! I have high hips which put me at the upper end of medium at 6'4".
