Using Cam Lock as Guideline Tie

So I figured out a way to store your guidelines using cam locks.
Fist thing to do is make a looped bundle out of your guideline. The make a small loop like below. If your cam locks are set up correctly there should already be a loop. Place your looped bundle through the small cam loop. Pull the guideline tight around the bundle. Now lock the cam in place.

I was surprised that I thought of it. It was one of those aha moments.

I use the BPL cam locks you've pictured. I've had my HH set up in my side yard for 5 days now and have noticed that the cams have slipped so much the fly is sagging noticeably. I have line tensioners (JJ) on the back guylines of the MacCat fly and they have completely retracted. Have you had similar problems? My guess is that the aircore line used with the cams don't hold a true round shape and after a while flattens out and slips through the cam lock. Your thoughts?

Also, thanks for the guyline stowage idea. I have small pockets sewn in the corners of my MacCat and your idea makes stowage in the pockets a snap.

I have not actually used mine all that much.
