Going to bump this up. I've been on the road since early July. I hope to get up to the area the Thurs before. Looking forward to meeting a lot of hangers from the area. Thanks to Triggerhpy for keeping this going.
It's coming up fast-- can't wait-- going to bring my dutch oven and make some manly beef stew. I'm hoping to bring my son-- maybe one of his friends too.
I'm going to try real hard to make this one, financial plans might be holding me back after this weeks 5 day trip.

I don't know that they will allow open fires there-- I just checked the site and it said no fires only camp stoves allowed.
If you are in the Holcomb Campground you can have fires in the provided fire pits, if you are in the near by dispersed camping then there are no fires, or charcoal, but you can get a free fire permit that will allow use of a camp stove.
