Anybody have a few of these they can spare for a few bucks? I used to have a bookmark to where you could make 'em, but seem to have lost it. I need two, but would love to have four if the price is right.
Thanks

You mean these?

Same basic idea, yeah. The ones I have now are SLIGHTLY different, but it's close enough to call it. I can make those work just fine.
If nobody has any on hand they can part with, I'll just scrounge around and see if I can't find some tubing somewhere and make a set.
My Home Depot has surgical tubing...
I never woulda thought to look at Home Depot. I've got a buddy who deals in medical supplies, was gonna hit him up. I guess surgical tubing isn't as hard to come by as I suspected it might be. What part of the store should it be in?
These are way easier to make and don't stay stretched out when it gets below freezing. Less bulky as well.....https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ead.php?t=3731
Just another option.

This is the way I like... This all goes down at the stake... That way all the adjustment is done with a line lock at the tarp... Which means I can adjust in the rain from under the tarp... But to each his own...
I remember another one done with shock cord and a knot bone. Does anyone have that tutorial? I've misplaced it.
You mean the one some crazy old fart did? This one? :woot:
My gripe with the ones that use a piece of shock cord (and this is just my mania showing) is it doesn't "look neat". Like, there's a dangly bit, and my OCD can't abide that. :(
