I remember them both......remember Murphy in the Morning on WROQ? I listened to that as a kid. I also remember listning to John Boy and Billy in Charlotte as a teenager when they were starting out in the Charlotte market. Just can't remember the radio station call letters. hahahaha Yes there are substitute preachers, I actually have a retired preacher in my church that would do it no problem, but I only have 2 Sundays off a year, and I use them in case I need to go see my sick mother, or sick father in law. I just gotta be that good son :). But even if I went, I would still go to church on Sunday morning somewhere, thats just my thing.
