Looks like a bunch of snow while we're out there. Woohoo!

Hope to get out of here fairly early. Looking forward to a couple nights in the woods.

I be jealous... while you'uns are trekkin' in the snow, I will be spending the last night of deer season in the Birkhead Wilderness. I'll listen to the booming metropolis of Asheboro ring in the new year from ten miles away in me cozy hammock!

Just got home from an awesome time in the woods. Man, the site for the Frozen Butt hang is perfect!

Pretty much where it's marked on the map. We found the spot for the big long fire and used that as a center. Then we all just split off into the woods and set up camp. There are TONS of trees for hanging.
