Nope I am wrong. I completely forgot about the suspension triangle. My way the cords couldn't pass unless you made a hole for it. Sorry had a der moment.

Day 2. 90% done, 85% success.
So I finished the cover, per my mental design... Ran into a few mechanical issues with my piece of um... well... It's a Brother sewing machine.. Need I say more?
Anyway, I cut a square out of each corner to go around the hammock suspension and finished them with 3/8" grosgrain. I was worried about making the grosgrain turn the corner, but I pulled the fabric straight, and it worked better than I expected.

I added some 1/16" (or smaller?) elastic cord to the long channels, reinforced the corners with grosgrain, cut the ends, rolled a hem and added 3/8" grosgrain to the back side.
Sew on some velcro on the corners and:

It fits pretty well, with one exception. Because a bridge hammock sags in the middle, if I tighten the perimeter elastic, it causes the cover to lift, as opposed to tuck under like I wanted. In retrospect, this makes sense, as the hammock body is an hourglass shape. :(
So in a side breeze, the cover might lift and flop. I'm thinking I either add a bra hook on each side, centered on the hammock, or a small square of velcro...
More pics this weekend when I get out to the So-Cal hang in Big Bear.

Nice work. I haven't been able to figure out a better way.
All I've got done is adding loops to the inside of the netting to attach a "ridgeline" for my glasses and a light.
Just had an idea... I have some ultra thin shock cord.. I'm thinking I might add a length to go under the center of the RR to keep the cover down...
Kinda like the HUG bugnet does . . .
You could always remove the elastic cord and add a strip along the sides to compensate for the hourglass shape of the hammock. Then insert elastic cord into new strip.
More info please ... if the cover drooped down, any elastic would just pull it up, not in.
Either way it worked great as I just tucked it in my uq. 28 degrees overnight and warm enough inside....
Yeah I see what you mean about pulling it up. What about a mitten hook on each side with some tiny shock cord and a cord lock. It would pass under the hammock and once inside the hammock you could pull the shock cord tight with the cord lock keeping the edge tight and unmoving.
You could use on the corners,,Dutch quilt clips where each end of your spreader bar is located to keep the cover attached..works great on my cover made for my BMBH UL as well as UQP from 2Q & ZQ.
