I'm in.
My smoker isn't portable, but I can bring some butts for smokin', my killer slaw, and some blackstrap molasses baked beans. Oh, and cornbread, if course. My wife isn't well, but should the dates be fortuitous I'll bring all that and more!

The title got my interest :)
And I have been known to travel a bit for a hang, or great food.
Will watch and see if it works out ;)
I'm no good at BBQing, but I can make a mean slaw and a perty good pasta salad! Just say when and I'll grab my bib and hammock!
After going through several pages of the hang planning forum ,so as not to double book people for the same weekend, and my personal schedule I think the best dates, at least for me, are going to be April 19-21. Should be late enough so that we're not inadvertently vying for the "frozen butt" title and early enough that it's not yet Summer time in the South.
If that sounds agreeable to people then I'll get an official planning thread going.
You might lose folks due to availability and having to choose between this and MAHHA the next weekend.
This would be awesome! Part Hang, Part BBQ clinic. You Carolina guys could show us Yank's how to BBQ the right way! I hear its all about slow and low, and the magic is in the mop sauce.
I was concerned about that. It's a busy time of year for hangs and events.
Well we can put it to a vote.
March 1-3
March 29-31 (Easter)
April 19-21
May 10-12
These are the weekends I'm available. If they don't work for people then we could always push the hang back to a less busy month. Or pick a different weekend and I'll help plan even if I'm unable to attend.
What state park?
