Welcome from Belgium!
:) I have the same problem. I'm already planning on sleeping in my new gear (once the post man delivers it) on the weekends and my husband's reaction was this: :rolleyes::unsure::huh::thumbdown:
Welcome to the forums from Lawrenceville, GA. Man, sounds like you got it good! Once the hammock bug bites, you are hooked forever - I was and am!
Hello Ratdog,
Welcome from Victoria, on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada!
Very well written post! Welcome to the forums!

Thanks for the warm welcome all. :D
Just found out my ENO Atlas straps are poly and after 2 night's testing and no appreciable sag, I 'm psyched at the ease of setup/teardown.
Oh sure, I see suspension changes in the future, another hammock and all sorts of mods. But the strap and biner setup has me hanging now and provides the oppurtunity to work my ridgeline setup issues.
And hey, being south central Jersey, Southampton Twp, pretty excited about a number of upcoming hanger events in the local state parks. Yet another excuse (as if one were needed) to get out there.
Cheers all.
I just tell my wife that at least I am not into drag racing or Nascar. The putz factor has struck again. I love to putz with my gear because it is fun, but most importantly I can be out in the woods and sleep really, really well. Not to mention my sleep at home. Now my wife hangs with me.
Great post, and a warm welcome.
