Adam is the man..................great customer service Hammock Gear...........way to go
I read this and though "man?"... Ohhh... I posted my last post under Adam's profile....again! Auto sign-in is annoying! Anyway, he's still on the trail, but I am here holding up the fort. Let me know if you have questions or emails.. (I am actually working with our website girl on a major issue with orders that indicate shipping is unavailable, so we're working around the clock fixing that).
You da man, Jenny.:jj:
Thanks Adam, I'll email you tomorrow. Thanks for the helpful suggestions, everyone!
Stormcrow here everyone. I just back from the big ditch with my two oldest kids (we had a blast)
Sorry about the snap situation. The pros that responded in the thread are right. We use a special machine to do the snaps so it has to be fixed here. It goes without saying (though I believe Thorwren did) that we will take care of all costs involved.
One thing about those snaps. Since they are on a somewhat delicate material, we use a thicker material that is sewn into the inside of the quilt for reinforcement. Those snaps also have a rather strong hold. This is so that it does not come undone at the neck or foot area during the night (happened in the past). They lose some of their strength after then have been snapped and unsnapped a couple of times.
Thanks for chiming in everyone!

Just wanted to give everyone an update.
I had a couple weeks where I knew I wouldn't use the quilt as I was moving, so I shipped it back to Adam for repair. He repaired it quickly and shipped it back.
It works just like new! By looking at it, you can't even tell there was an issue. And I got it back in time to use it on my backpacking trip last weekend.
Thanks for everyone who made suggestions. And thanks to HG, too!
I use a dry silicone spray on my snaps,,even the soft top snaps of my jeep,,works like a charm.
