Heya from Tassie!
Hey everyone,
Just starting to make the transition from ground camping and gotta say straight off how helpful everyone is on this website. I wouldn't have dared to make the jump :lol: as it were without all the great advice available.
I live in south east Tasmania and have never actually seen anyone hanging down here, but we have lots of trees...so :)

Hi, welcome to the forums. Its great to see other Aussies here.
Im from Queensland, never been to Tasmania, i plan to hike the overland track, was told there are a major lack of trees on the Overland track, therefore hammock use is not possible and been advised against the use of a hammock in Tasmania,
