I felt sympathetic scratches on my arms and legs watching you go on that overgrown trail in shorts and no-sleeves!
That Hickory, he's kinda hard on gear, ya think? Mora knife busted in part 1, hiking pole in part 2, waiting for the camp stool to fold next :scared:
You're really blessed to have a bosum-buddy from way-back with whom you head out into the woods for a week (and blessed to have a wife that supports that).
Hi Shug,
Great trip report as always. Off-track hiking is the best. It always put's a smile on my face when I leave the tracks, sometimes can be a challenge but you usually get the whole place to yourself.
Our Troop always went to the Gorge...thank you Mr. Segle, Mr. Duckworth and Mr. Green
Got some Gorge rash for sure....

You speak truth having an old friend to do this with. We have known each other over 40 years we figured.
Meg gives me carte blanche))))) I am fortunate I agree.
You got to get there someday.
That is for sure. gives you that feel in the pit of your stomach that is good for fellers!
Thanks for #2 Shug and Hickery. I have a photo of that same gnarly stump at the Shortoff Bogg. Yep CYFFH = "Can you fish from here". Nice serpent!
Brothers Hickery, thanks again, y'all are a blast!
Hickery, does one walk whoppy-jawed when using mix-matched sticks?
I'm loving the continun' adventures of the Hickery Brothers!! Mighty fine .... and dang if it didn't end with a Ginger Cam! Come on part three!
Great finding that hiking pole, just when something goes wrong something else goes really right ;)
There's a part three? What's that called? Ginger Gorge Fest?
