Hey guys, I just ordered a Hammock Bliss bug-net hammock and some tubular webbing. Is this thing gonna fall apart on me or is it a decent choice? I think I still have time to cancel the order.

You are gonna hear stuff like
IT TO HEAVY (gtam weenies)
The RL sucks
Getting in and out sucks
it is too hot
From my experience of owning and using one it is just fine.
it is built good. It works, in fact this time of year it gets more usw than my Hennessys
I think you made a good choice.
I think I misread your post..
Did you get the NoSee-Um hammock?
I have one of their bug guards and one of their hammocks. They are good products.
I know nothing about them, but wanted to give you a "WHOOT!" on your purchase.
Welcome to the wonderful world of hangin' and all that!
:D
They're comfy
Have fun with it and practice!

@Randy - Yes, the No-See-Um Mesh version. I just didn't wanna have to go out and get a separate bug net for my first hammock. By the time winter rolls around I'll probably have made my own gathered-end with skins and a DIY UQ. I'm expecting to become slightly obsessed.
@Kayt & Uprising - Thanks guys!
@Shug - I'm sure I will, your 10-part series on hangin for newbs really sold me on the idea of a hammock as a serious lightweight shelter option, so thank you for that. I'm excited to leave my tent/pads at home this year!
I have a Hammock Bliss bug-net. I always felt like I was being birthed while fighting my way out of it :cursing:
It has a nickname now that decorum bars listing here on HF
The upside is it made me try other methods. Now I don't use a net at all. The bugs are more afraid of me than I am of them :scared:
really? isn't that a nightmare in the summer months?Quote:
Now I don't use a net at all.
Well ya wont camp out down here in the summer time...without some form.of net or protection...
Some of the skeeters here are big enough to shoot with a. 22
