Gona Give Hanging A Try
Hidee Ho from coastal N Carolina and SE TN Mts.
Been a lurker for a while , trying to gather some info together.
Great site by the way, found enough to be thoroughly confused, looked at lots of Hammocks, on line, didn't want to spend a bunch on my first one so after much reading , THANKS , I ordered a ENO dbl nest.
Been tent, motorcycle, motorhome camping for 40+years. Had to quit backpacking, bad knees, so we now have a wood tent in the mts. of Cherokee NF in S.E. Tn.. My wife and I both ride BMW mc's, used to tent camp off them and looking forward to getting back after 2 yrs of building a wood tent.
So after sleeping on the ground thought we'd give hanging a try.
She is an accomplished seamstress so we'll do a lot of DYI stuff.
well looking forward to meeting some of you.
Got 8 acres of mountain wood's and anybody is welcome to camp there anytime.

Welcome to HF from Bama.............if she is a seamstress you will have no issues with the DIY side of hammocks. Good luck and enjoy the relaxation.

Hi-dee-ho from Oklahoma! Welcome to life in the trees (or whatever you can hang from)! An Eno was our first choice as well. It's a great start!
