One problem fixed, new one created
Okay, hanging the tarp beneath the hammock did get the hammock ridgeline much closer to the tarp, BUT
Now I can't create as much tension on the tarp because until I actually get in the hammock, the tarp is being held artificially high by the hammock. When I get in the hammock, it sinks, thereby lowering the tarp.
Maybe there's still plenty of tension, but that MacCat sure looked awesome when I had it set very tight.
I'm using the BPL Air Core Nano guylines with tensioners. Is there a way to put something like the JRB tensioners on that kind of set up? Would the surgical tubing help take up the difference?
