Thank you MAHHA!
I just wanted to thank JD, Wags, Dave, RamblinRev, CrankyBear, TwoTents, Lazy River Road, Traveler, Kayak Carl, 2Q, the guys from JacksRBetter and Tree2Tree, (I know there are more but I'm drawing a blank!) and everyone else for being so cool, and helpful, and kind. Absolutely great time. It was great meeting you all! I even played a song or two (however nervously :D). Sorry I couldn't stay longer! I'll work on uploading any decent pictures/video this week - I'll post them here.
Again - Thank you all!

Thanks. ...Tim

Nice meeting you there, and enjoyed hearing about your adventures. You'll have to come up and do an overnighter with me and wags sometime.

Spring MAHHA a success
What a great time! The weather cooperated for a Saturday afternoon display of hammocks , tarps, quilts, with several HF members on hand to talk about their hammock interests and passions.
Special thanks are in order to mph5, Lazy River Road, Deucalion, WV, Dutch, Wags, Pan and Smee, Darby, Syb, Ishmael, RamblinRev, Bummer72, Pedro, Iafte, Crash, and all those who brought food, drink and great conversation for the whole weekend. At the end of the raffle, I asked everyone to sign the yellow pad and there were 78 names. I think we counted somewhere in the neighborhood of 67 hammocks at the group hang area. Pictures to come.
The Patriot news reporter grabbed me for an interview and I heard Reuters was interviewing at the AT Museum.
Pan will post the official Raffle outcomes.
We missed seeing Happy Camper who had to scurry home with sickness. I think she was our only casualty. Stormcrow was hoping to make it but we didn't see him. I suspect work kept him home.
The Pine Grove Furnace Park manager really was glad we came and hopes we consider coming again in the future.
ZQ camped in the family campground with Dylan's wife and kids, where the showers, tent with heater, and electric kept her happy but she did spend Saturday and much of time putting faces to the many names she's learned on HF.
We took lots of pictures and movies and hope to get some time this week to edit them and post.
Thanks to all for your support and participation for this event. Although the numbers of public attenders was not what I expected, everyone had a great time talking hammocks and you can't get much better than that.
Stay tuned as attenders post pics and stories.

I thought of typing a trip report, but there was so much to take in and such a good time that it'll take me awhile to put it all together. Amazing event.
Thanks 2Q and ZQ and everyone else for the effort in putting this together and the wonderful weekend!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

The Patriot news also talked to me. I don't know what is going to be used but I thought I heard the online report would be more comprehensive than the paper one. It should show up next Sunday if I heard correctly.
