Okay I've worked up a basic rig basically pulled from this image:

This is my quick rendition done in Photoshop. I based it off of leaving the ENO stock carabiner system alone with changes to that particular aspect (whoopy strings) to occur later on once i get used to the hammock:

JLegion--I like ENOs also, owning a single and a double.
I ditched the carabiner and the stock gather ENO cord and threaded through a 1" strap with sewn loop, and just put the open end of strap through the sling. Now, with the free end, I just use Dutch clips or J-clips (check out the jacks r better website for both-- and youtube videos) and bam, low weight, no knots, suspension system.
Hey, thanks for the strapworks website--I'm going to place an oder.
Tarp--I did not get the ENO tarp for the reason everyone mentions, and I went with a Kelty-9 tarp for $55. It's great! Slightly larger when compacted, but a real tarp. Look on forum under TARPs and there's a dedicated thread on Kelty Noah 9 (and it comes in 12 etc. Basic, but good stuff.

Many people attach rope to webbing using a marlin spike hitch.
