Does my WBBB UQ have to be a Yeti?

Is it a better choice to go with the Yeti for the WBBB? I understand it to be somewhat asymmetrically cutto accommodate the WBBB better. Is this true or does it even matter? Can I use a Phoenix 3/4 and get the same results, or any other 3/4 for that matter?

Yes, it's true the Yetis are cut to better fit an asymmetrical position, but any underquilt will fit the Blackbirds just fine. :cool:

My LeighLo 72" - 0* UQ fits my WBBB great. I'm sure the Yeti would as well.

Yes, I use a KAQ New river on my WBBB as well as a DIY 3/4 UQ I made. Both are fine

I use a hammock gear Incubator with mine.

I have used the Jarbridge from Arrowhead and the Phoenix from Hamockgear and a FL BigTurtle on my BB's

I use a HG crowsnest er a a , what is it.........Pheonix with my BB.

you can use any underquilt on the Blackbird that you want - I have used both a leighlo and a DIY full length on my blackbirds.

That said, after using the Yeti, it fits perfectly with no tweaking, and is the most convenient UQ I've used. I borrowed one from Brandon at the CO winter hang, and bought it the next morning. I vastly prefer it to my DIY, which required a lot of fiddling to get fit properly.
