Probably the best thing to do is move deeper into the trees if the wind comes up like it did. In the situation I had
I could have just taken the tarp down when the wind came up. There were no clouds or chance of rain.
Just a steady wind pushing and tugging on those tie out.
I did want to test this new tarp in wind after all this is where I hike and hang and if brand X tarp
can't hold up to a Colorado storm I'd like to know sooner rather that when I really need it to protect me.
