I posted some pictures of my FF quilt in the gallery, for those who are interested. I will try to write up a very informal review after I return from Mt. Rogers.

that looks like a nicely designed quilt. it's wide, but i like the way it goes down to a point at the foot.
i have a ray way quilt that's similar. it doesn't go to that much of a point, it does get pretty small at the very end.
if it's not that cold, i don't need to use the smallest part, but if my feet are cold, i slide them into that small point & there isn't any extra air space around them to heat.
Yes, the footbox is very nice. I'm a cold sleeper, and my feet get cold first of all. For Mt. Rogers I'm going to wear some slippers.
I wish this quilt had some quilting loops (I will have to install some) because when you try to tuck yourself in, the material balloons up a bit. It would be nice to contain that. It's very comfortable though.
It'll be interesting to test it out in the very cold this weekend.
very nice ncp. my hats off to you.. i have tried and tried to learn to sew, but no such luck for me.but i keep hopin'!
is that their 30° bag?
Yes, it is. I'm going to need another layer up at Mt. Rogers. I'm bringing a fleece blanket, I don't care about the weight/bulk ;)
my insinuative clothing is part of my sleep system. ...tim
Ummm...what exactly does your clothing insinuate, Tim? :D
