My fun and colorful trek continues on...and on.
Wish I could video the smells of Fall))
Slept 10 hours in the hammock this night. Oh so good. It healed me.
All secure in sector seven

hehehe you made me laugh:) i needed that! can't wait for #3
Dig'en that new hat shug. Looks like a wonder place to hike and hang.
Ah, this one was in time for about the last cup of joe for the morning. Yes, you're definitely styling in that MountainGoatGear hat--noticed that one right off. You're making this a better weekend for me, Shug. Thankee.
That's some protection you have there in that tarp!
Is that the "4 Season" at 8'-6" wide or the "Winter Palace" at 10'-7" wide?
I hope the knee feels better after a good night's sleep.
Ah Shug! Thanks me friend for takin' me along for the trip! Enjoying every step, every sight and sound, every wince of pain along the way.......
..........waiting patiently for the next vid.
now I'm hungry!
thankfully, not cold though.
Very pretty site. I'd have made the same call on passing on the fire. There are times a feller just wants to get calories in the storehouse, and beat-up body surrounded by downy goodness, protected from the wind, with a little bit of a sway thrown in. You can't capture that feeling in a video, but you sure can invoke the memory of it.
Happily anticipating ( like the rest of your admirers ) the next installation.
so pretty, and so cold looking. Though, your sleeping system looked super warm. It's 54*F right now, and I got warm just looking at it. :)
The colors of the leaves in the beginning were crazy. It looked like you were walking on colored tissue paper, or confetti. So beautiful.
Thanks for sharing. :) I hope your knee is all goods.
BRrrr wind. Not a fan of cold wind but am a fan of FF stove, big fan of JRB HRQ. i'm jealous you get to listen to wolves,,,around here we just get those yappy coyotes and those very silent cougars. I have an alpaca scarf and last year it became one of my favorite pieces of gear. Been thinking about a toque . Glad your knee is a bit better,,careful now,,,you know what i mean....older guys still feelin young,,,i'm older. Sometimes i don't even use my BushBuddy when its windy. Happy trails.

It's good to see you on the trail again, Shug! Mrs. Beep and I are in the woods day hiking each day this week and returning each evening for drinks/dinner/sleeping in a cabin near Grand Marais.
Keep the knee safe...have fun!
