New sub-forum idea

Hey all,

Thanks for a great forum, I truly love wandering the pages and reading.

I am getting into DIY and saw a sub forum under DIY for fabrics which was/is very helpful. My thought is a sub-forum under DIY entitled misc. gear or something like that. In it we could put sources for things such as amsteel, zippers, down, thread, mitten hooks, etc.........

Theres one already, in the donating members section.

I think the op was referencing a form about where to source amsteel to make suspensions, zippers for hammock bugnets, and the like.

check this out, i can't remember which HF member is putting it together but it has some good info.
here is another thread that also has some info on cottage vendors.

I like that idea for a sub forum. I keep making new threads simply because it's not easy to find that sort of information all the time.
