1st time may take you 30 minutes as you undo, redo, undo, redo

True, but after 10 minutes you'll understand how and why you need to undo, redo, undo, redo. At that point, it's just tweaking. Hell, I'm two+ years into this and still have one hammock or another set-up in my basement 'tweaking' at least once or twice a week. Course, I have issues.:D
you should have gotten instructions, if you still want them drop me an email and i'll email them to you.
with ringbuckles (adj web susp) it should only take a couple mins. ihowever if you get in, get out, re-adjust, repeat etc, this can take longer. but with a little practice you should be able to get it hung correctly without getting in to test and then getting out to re-adjust. but to do this you need to be able to eyeball the:
height of the hammock off the ground
angle of the suspension lines
correct position left/right
neither of these are hard to do on the first try with a little practice and a few steps back.
