I have my hands on 2 yd of 60" wide duck canvas and 4 yd at 30" wide.
Any ideas on what to make with it? I thought about a winter sock, but I don't think it is enough material.

You could make a gear hammock maybe
Assuming that both fabrics look similar and are the same weight.
I think you do have enough for a winter sock. All total you have 240 square yards of material. The hammock sock pattern found here: http://www.tothewoods.net/HomemadeGearHammockSock.html calls for less material than that. You just may need to get creative about where you put the seams and how you piece it all together. I would just think it through completely before I began cutting anything.
Other than that, if you mostly car camp, you might consider a tarp.
Maybe an anorak. MacEntyre has made some awesome looking ones! Search his posts.
I could make a hat, or a brooch, a pterodactyl...

Sorry. That was supposed to be a clip from Airplane. Trust me, it was funny.
I'm having a duck cloth jacket made for me. Its the skyline jacket from Green Pepper Patterns.
Thanks for all the suggestions! Both sections are the same fabric, so a winter sock may be in the cards...more investigation is in order!
I'm thinking sailor's ditty bags and DIY hats (think Tilley hat, but with embroidery fancy).
Old man! Had to explain to a skylarker the other day about hanging a bag in front of the radiator when heading across the desert...he'd never heard of it or that.
