Just finished in time for the Sipsey Hang. My sewing won't win a beauty contest, but I think it will all hold. Cutting the bugnet precisely proved harder than I anticipated.
I used aluminum rings form www.slingrings.com for the suspension. The rings avg 11 grams each and make for easy adjustments.
All in all I'm pleased with the project.
Looks good peg-leg, a fine diy piece of pleasure. Nothing more satisfying than sleeping in YOUR own hammock.

I never put a bug net on any DIY hammock. Your sizing looks perfect!
I identify with the pad and SB setup- consider a 36-40" bit of Blue foam pad (crosswise) in the shoulder area- might save you a chilly spot or two.
