Beautiful workmanship, Red. How does she fair as the wind inches its way up the Beaufort scale?
Thank you nothermark, I look fwd to lots of good time under this shelter.
Thanks TZ, what excites me about it is the hope that I almost can't get wet in there.:D
Thanx jspate, no doubt she'll be a bit of a sail, but there was probably a 10mph wind when I set it up and it was no problem. I think that if I'm in the woods they should block some wind for me. It's really only a 10.5'x11' so it souldn't me too unmanagable. (At least I hope.)
Looks amazing, Red! Colonel Townsend Whelen would be impressed!!! You've brought his lean-to into the 21st century. It's a tried and proven design that should hold up to virtually any weather. You're the first to use it for hammocks, as far as I can tell. That's really innovative! :D
Awesome Red!
I'm in the middle of designing my fortress for a 2X2 hang and you've just inspired me to stop with my dilly dallying and to get on with it! :D
Great job!
Good job Red. Shows good DIY skills.
