hey there
names Johnathon im 40 years young and an Aussie living in Norway and it great to have joined the madness.. a lot of great characters and a great wealth of info here and im glad to be apart of it.i have made my owne hammocks before out of canvas, and even bed sheets and have had a few rope hammocks in the past mainly just for hanging around the back yard in Australia but have never tried camping out with a nylon one, when me and the misses goes into the wilderness here we`er using a tent it gets real cold here so we have to bring alot of things with us for winter camping im really liking the post ive seen here about winter hammocking want to give it a try, which leads me to my question, was thinking to start out with a couple of eno double nests mainly due to there lower price point with a full length under quilts would they hold up to the cold or are they more of a summer hammock? thanks for reading this far look foward to your comments

Welcome aloft from SC. I think there are many other better hammocks out there than the ENO, (check the cottage folks here) and you can even order a couple tableclothes from tableclothesfactory.com and make your hammocks for much less. That way you will have more money to spend on a good UQ and TQ which you will need in those cold Norway woods. That is just my $.02 and HYOH. Good luck to you.
