Hammock end design question
I have my materials and I'm ready to make a hammock with an integrated bug net from the basic plans at DIY Gear. If you look at the picture on their home page you can see what I'm going to build.
My question is this: Look at the end of that hammock. It's a gathered end hammock so the suspension will just wrap around the gathered end with a larks head in the normal fashion much like this.

But there's also a structural ridge line which is somehow both inside the bug net and also outside the hammock because it will have to wrap around the gathered end as well.
I'm trying to figure out how the ridge line can be secured to the outside of the gathered end and also be inside the bug net without leaving a hole for bugs to get in.

Simply run the ridgeline cord through the end of the hammock as you gather it. Either tie or bury a fixed eye loop in the end of the ridgeline and run the suspension line through this loop.
