They're ~50oz. When I got mine, it was weighed with no suspension nor ridgeline at 49.5oz including the stuff sack. If you're counting grams, there's probably a SLIGHT difference (mine has the stretch side mod vs. the side pullouts on this model), but not very likely much.
Then again, if you're a gram counter you're probably looking at the wrong hammock for backpacking. :)
If most of your camping is done within a mile or two of your ride, I personally wouldn't have a problem with carrying this one.
EDIT: These are slightly shorter than my Gen1 JBD Hammock, so it's likely slightly lighter.

No worries!
They're not lightweight (we'll have an exact "shipping" weight shortly for this model - this one is likely lighter than the Generation 1 model I have on hand) by any stretch of the term. It's just a specialty kind of thing for hanging around the house or a short mosey into the woods.

Pictures further down the page - this post was broken.

I'd love one in the fabric but single layer and 55"X10'6" to keep the weight down. I have an eleven year old that eats, sleeps, and lives pink and has been after me for a year for a pink hammock. I missed the chance to pick up one of the GT pink hammocks a while back and haven't seen any since.

dman, I can make one to your specs. Sending PM.

Ok, guys. Who forgot Valentine's and needs a last minute bailout?? These hammocks would make a great gift to get your lady hanging out in the woods with you. You still have time to tell her that you ordered her gift, but it hasn't come in yet. Print out the pics and wrap them up with a pretty bow. :-)

Gresh, I think there's a problem with the pics you posted.

Let me know if you want to come by and look at them.

Both still available. :-)
