Downloading now. I hope it doesn't need Internet to work.
Resistance is futile. Plus what else in the world of hammocks only costs 99 cents!
Just bought it!
Had to have it. Thanks Derek, now if I could just find my ipod??
I'll play with it and "show it off" at the NEHHA hang this weekend.
Hooray for Tech! (more or less...)
BTW, will it work with the iphone/ipad camera? As in, hang hammock, shoot picture, app analyzes image and calculates suspension angle, distances, etc.?
...it can be done, you know ;)
Very nice. I notice it fixes the metric conversion issue which happens on the web version (inward force and line tension are always in lb, even if metric is chosen on the web version, but it works perfectly in the app).
I'm very keen to see the improvements you spoke of! Let's all make sure that this becomes really popular! I'd really like to see it use the gyro etc so that one can measure the angle precisely. Heck, even a protractor function would be great, so one could enter an angle, and a line would show on screen which is at the selected angle from the top of the screen (held in landscape of course). Even better if said line had a background provided by the camera. Augmented reality of the hammock world!
Cool.
What's the difference between "Ridgeline Length" and "Hammock Length" for a WBBB?
