Can someone help me? There is an extensive use of abbreviations (which I like) on HF, but the Search function won't let me search for things like "TQ", "UQ", "PLUQ", "HH", "WBBB", etc...
Am I missing something?
If not, can somebody fix the search to allow shorter terms (just a friendly question...not trying to be argumentative)?

Agreed...that article was most helpful when I started. I may have mis-stated my concern:
I am unable to Search the forum for threads about TQ, UQ, PLUQ, HH, WBBB, etc... When I attempt a Search for any short/abbreviated term, the site tells me my search term is too short.
Use Google, such as...site:https://www.hammockforums.net pluq
or...site:https://www.hammockforums.net tq
Google custom site search is your friend. From Google you can enter your search term and then include site:hammockforums.net (without any spaces!) at the end and it'll only search on the hf site. For example: https://www.google.com/#h=en&q=UQ+si...orums.net&fp=1
The site search function requires the use of atleast 4 characters per word. So while UQ won't work PLUQ will.
As already mentioned using the google site search function is a great way to find information that would otherwise be lost.
