Hi from Missouri
My name is Kat from KC, Missouri. I am learning so much from the forum. I am new to hammock camping and am really looking forward to trying it. I don't backpack (yet) but have been looking for quick and easy lodging when I tour on my motorcycle. I think this will work. It looks easy, fast AND comfortable. Have made a gathered end hammock and getting ready to try the tarp. Also made a Bushwhacker Stove and cat alcohol stove. I have caught the DIY bug and I am really having fun!! Thank you to everyone for all the information, instructions and entertainment :) I'm sure to have some questions when I try my first hang and I feel lucky to have a place to find the answers I need.
Thanks,
Kat

Welcome Kat. Consider riding your bike to the Ozark hang March 11 - 13 at Kyles Landing in AK. It's drive up camping with day hikes. The road down to the camp ground is a steep rock and gravel road.

Welcome, it seems there are many who ride here as well. Enjoy!
