Instructables DIY camping gear contest

The contest closes for entries Sept 5th, and it's only open to the US and Canada (except Quebec). The prizes range from $1500 in Coleman gear (1), a sleeping bag and head lamp(4), and just the head lamp (10).

"Submit a new Step By Step, Photo, or Video Instructable that involves camping. Instructables must be published from Aug. 8 to Sept. 5 (11:59pm PT). " You sign up for the contest when submitting the instructable. Then people vote, although I'm not sure if that is the only way the contest is judged.

I'm new but I've seen how DIY people seem to be on here and this seemed like something others would be interested in, even if I can't enter it.

I saw the contest, just haven't the time nor the inclination to do anything right now with it. Of course that could change before contest closes, we'll see.

It's too bad that the reword for winning will be 1500$ of camp gear that would make even the pound hogs shudder. lol. Ah well there is always bragging rights.

Yeah, Coleman gear is really no spur.
