The coffee will be very much appreciated. I'm not a coffee drinker myself, I tend to jump out of bed and get to running but some guys have trouble starting that motor in the mornings.

I have updated the spreadsheet to add in a few other items. Stole this idea from the Texas guys.
Actually, any ideas taken from the "Texas guys" most likely was stolen from the "MAHHA" folks, who when asked permission said their stuff was stolen from a fine upstanding member of HF and a highly recommended vendor.
That many generations from from the source makes your spreadsheet "original" and I may adapt some formating from yours.
Have a great hang. I wish my calendar and gas budget were both loose enough for me to join in on your festivities.
Hello gang, I have lurked here for a couple years and joined last year but rarely post. Another HF member on another forum told me about the "Hanging in Louisiana" so I scheduled off and will be there on the morning of the 12th leaving straight from the fire dept.
I am more than happy to help and can bring fire wood , gear, large dutch oven and food so just let me know whats needed and how I can help. looking forward to meeting everyone and having a nice relaxing weekend.
Last time I was on the trail I was mountain biking and since then I have seen it listed as both hiking and mtb so bringing mine and be aware of riders if your on the trail. Here is the listing http://www.trails.com/tcatalog_trail...lid=BGD027-007
Oh just a reminder Oct is bow season for deer and squirrel season for gun hunters. I am not sure if any hunting clubs border the park or not.

No worries and I will bring the med kit. I have a commercial 10 by 10 EZ-up if its needed as well.
i have never seen hunters in this area. i would think a good hunter would pick an area away from hikers/bikers if he wanted to bag a deer, etc. but it is a good possibility someone might be hunting close by, so . . . maybe wearing something blaze orange would be a good idea. perhaps a blaze orange bandana. think i will have one now that this has been mentioned.
edit. i just contacted the ranger district and was advised hunting is restricted in all recreation areas of the forest. but, i think the blaze orange is still a good idea.
Welcome Redneck. Anything you want to bring will help out tremendously. Glad you could find the thread and can't wait to meet you.
At the Spring hang a few of us brought bikes and rode the trail South. Not very scenic, riding north will give you a better ride.
Yall can call me wink or Shane. I build and design a few things so when I picked the name it was more of a goofy pun :)
