Turned out real nice. The company I bought it from on e-bay said it was 60" wide. Turned out to be 68" wide. Sweet. I didn't have to cut it in half thus avoiding a center seam.

My next project I'm thinking about is to turn the BlackCat into a tarp tent. Man this DIY stuff never ends. It's your fault again Grizz.
If you sew a grosgrain loop right in the center, you could clip/tie it to the ridgeline and give you more room inside.

looks good. I bet it was handy having the bugnet as a template! And especially handy having the Omnitape edge on the hammock already.
so when you want a little ventalation you can just open up the seal at selected places...?
