nice knife...wish I had disposable money right now:(

To say that this is a great knife would be a monumental understatement. Busse knives use INFI steel which is down right incredible. INFI steel is great because it is pretty much immune to chipping. So that makes Busse knives heavy workers and their knives can take a ton of abuse. The most damage I have ever seen to a Busse is an edged that had rolled slightly and needed to be re-profiled which is something you can do at home. Wish I had the extra cash. :)

I had one of the prototypes of these - it's an extremely tough belt knife. It has enough heft for light chopping, and is awesome for batoning small stuff. All of you bushbuddy, backcountry boiler, and caldera cone owners should give this a serious look.

I have a RAT RC-4 (ESEE-4) which is a fairly similar blade. All I can say is that I have been extremely please with the RAT. It has a slightly different steel, but from what I have read is that the INFI steel is slightly better so far as resisting corrosion and chipping. It has held a razor sharp edge over several trip when used for batoning and cutting. Cheers to who ever picks up this beautiful piece of steel.
