Continuous ridgeline and the Superfly?

I don't have mine yet... but I'm anxious to get it!

The setup video shows it on a non-continuous ridgeline. Is that because of the shape on the tarp?

Anyone using Dutch accessories on theirs?

I have used a CRL on my sf and use separate tie outs on the RL.
I prefer to use a tie out on each end of the RL because it's just easier for me to get a tight setup and I don't have 30' of line to untangle.
Which ever way you decide to go, Dutchware is the way to go.....

The Superfly's ridgeline has a slight upward catenary cut so tying the ends to the trees or using an above the tarp CRL allows that curve to take shape. Doesn't mean you can't use a below the tarp CRL though.

I have used all of the above...a CRL below and above my S.F., but I found that Dutch Stingers with 2 RL off of the ends of the tarp give me the best pitch and is more consistant. The Stingerz allow the tarp to settle into its CatCut RL very well.

I had mine on a CRL, but found that when I pitched it as tight as Brandon recommended, the prussics would slip, even given two extra wraps - and then it also got pretty stuck and hard to move the prussic. A line on each end, with Dutchware, is the way to go if you ask me.

I think this is what I'm leaning towards. My old tarp for backpacking and canoeing has been a Cooke Custom with a billion tie outs, so I always had a ridgeline. I'm looking forward to playing with it!
