I have an original HH and was considering doing a zipper conversion, or do I sell it and get a new Jungle model with side entry and double bottom?
I say get the DJ if you have the $300 to spend, otherwise mod your current hammock and save for an underquilt. I didn't pay that much for mine, and I'm not sure that I would.
You could get a double layer WBB for $175 and a Superfly tarp (the best of the best IMO) for $130 and only be out $305. I chose a DJ because I knew that I wanted a Mod 4 so that I could go netless and because I got an insane price.
