I decided to extend my hammock so I can hang two hammocks side-by-side. The photos are on my website: www.Hikehaven.com. Click on galleries, and goto hammocks. It is towards the bottom. Enjoy!!!

looks like the one Ed Speer uses & looks like it would work like a charm.
That looks nice. Also enjoyed looking at your other photo's!
What did the materials cost you?
Total, at a length to work with a Clator it costs just under $300. That's a bit expensive.
I have not set it up with the 3 x 6' length's for the Claytor yet. Maybe I will try today if I have time.
You can make a single for a HH, or hammock shorter than a Clator JH for about $160. Of course, if fuel prices keep going up it will get more expensive.
I can tell you that I priced out a simple "U" shaped 1-1/4"-diameter pipe single stand for my Claytor and it was around $130:
(1) 10' pipes
(2) 90 elbows
(2) "T" fittings
(3) 6' pipes
(4) 2' pipes
I just tried the stand at the length the Claytor JH would require and it is way too long; it sags a lot. I don't trust it without a cross member. I am going to return the extra pipes to lowes.
FYI:
I am returning all the parts for the new double-stand because I don't like it. The single is fine, but I just don't like the double.
