Very nice work!
Don't I remember a particular thread about fleece and nylon (or silk) in a hammock about generating enough static electricity to generate a spectacular fireworks display inside your hammock at night to provide plenty of cheap entertainment. Also didn't somebody list about putting a ground wire clip on one side of the hammock and clipping a piece of aluminum foil to your tongue with an alligator clip and wire lead to that, then running both wires to your hand held video game or DVD player (use one of the common adapter jacks readily available at Radio Shak)then rubbing your fleece pant legs again the sides of the hammock to generate electricity to power them. That way you could get your exercise while running in place on your back in your hammock while playing your video game at the same time. Just curious if anybody has tried this yet? Anyways, Mac, you could use the static cling effect to hold the top quilt in place at the least and not need any draw cords to keep it in place.Night, nights:sleep:
RE:static
I made a test quilt starting with just a ripstop shell, and I've been sliding in various loft battings... I had a layer of insul-brite in it, but my daughter kept getting shocked when the humidity was exceptionally low...
Back on topic: what are the dimensions of your quilt (before the footbox was sewn?)
Anybody have a guidline for a pattern?
I made a 72"x48" rectangle, and then cut the bend while it was folded in half like in this picture.

I was wondering if you put any air space in the top quilt between the ix using darts or something. I am looking to make one and love your design:D
The colors are great... love the design .. and the temps are remarkable ... nicely done !!
Nicely done & very inspiring posting! I just picked up $15 worth of super thick fleece the other day from the fabric store. I was thinking it could make a nice quilt somehow. I might try something like this with it.
