Hello all. Just hung my new Exp Deluxe Zip for the first time. First off. Its Awesome. So i bought the Hex tarp for it. My question is how to hang the hex tarp. Do I tie off the tarp to the trees with the ends that have the triangles on them or use the ends with the clips and attach them to the prussiks. Just want to set it up right. Thanks.

Enjoy the new HH. I have a HH Explorer Deluxe with hex tarp and love the whole package. Yes I have been bitten by the hammock bug and thus desire to try all the different types and brands of hammocks but for now at least I sleep in the HH.
The tarp ridgeline is the seam that runs down the middle of the tarp from side to side on the HH hex tarp. It should have a d ring on both ends that you can ether hook to the prusiks (which will cause the tarp to sag as you enter the hammock from the load change) Or you can hook a separate line each d ring around the tree. Or you can run a single ridge line from tree to tree and hook the tarp to that.

Totally agree with the previous post. Thought I'd add...on the HH Hex...the triangle plastic pieces are on the ridgeline of the tarp. The smaller circular plastic pieces are at the "corners" of the hex tarp.
The triangles are what you suspend between two trees...the circles are the tie down's to guy line the tarp to the ground.
Thanks everyone. Just wanted to make sure I was hanging this thing right. Appreciate it. I figured the Triangles were on the ridgeline.
I run a separate line for my tarp. I like the extra "ceiling" room. And I can also set up and take down under the tarp.
As for right or wrong, the only wrong thing is not using your hammock regularly however you decide to set it up.
The Hex is 12' long making it a little tough to attach to the ridgeline. It can be done but I'd tie it off separate. I never even attempted it when I had Hennessy's.
