My DIY underquilt
http://mc2photo.com/images/quilt.jpg
72"x45" with a little over 16 oz ~550 down reaped from a KMart pillow. It has approximately 2.5" baffles. The hardest part was reaping the down from the pillow and filling the quilt. I had lots of down floating around on my back porch and floating on the surface of my pool by the time I was finished. Gotta come up with a better way of getting the down out of the pillow instead of using a wand on the end of my vacuum.
BTW - these pillows are 100% down. There were absolutely NO feathers in the pillows. I have to make one more quilt sometime Friday for using this weekend on a deer hunt with my son.

what type of fabric is that? weight?

Great looking quilt. With my pillow, I opened one end and loaded up quart freezer bags from inside the pillow itself and then weighed the bag and adjusted the amount. If you use this method, make sure you weigh the empty bag first and add it to the total weight of down.
This is one of the best ways to stuff down http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=46587
Love the camo material, where did you get it?
