Hello from the Philly 'burbs!

Hello everyone!

I have been lurking on here for more than two weeks (after someone mentioned hammock camping in another forum), but after a trial hang in my Hennessy Safari yesterday I figured it was time to come out of the shadows :)

I've been a camper all my life, and had no clue about hammock camping. Can't believe I have missed out on this for so long. This summer is going to be a blast.

This forum has already been a huge help for me in learning about the art of the hang! Can't wait learn more! Big thanks to everyone for sharing their wisdom!

Welcome aloft from SC and a former Pennsylvanian. I am also a fellow HH Safari owner. My husband and I both love those big hammocks. A great diagonal lay and so comfy. :) A tad on the heavy side, but great for car camping, or backpacking with younger stronger backs. :)
