Looks like a great time. Sorry I missed it.
Man what a hike, Great video, next time I will bring more homemade granola bars
I had an excellent time! Will definitely be heading back to the Birkheads!
I'm glad I read about this. I had a great time. Thanks folks.
Mickey, I had my brother scan and blow up that black and white map so now it's 2 pages and I can read it. Thanks.
Looks like the weather was just right!
I need to find my map & look to see just were y'all were.
Our little group hiked all the way into the NE corner, at the foot of Cedar Rock Mtn. That's near the source of the Betty MgGee Creek, which flows north a couple of miles to Tot Hill Farm, then flows back south on the other side of the ridges to Thornburg Farm, and circumnavigates the entyre Birkhead Wilderness Area before joining the Uwharrie River.
Very nice to see a hike with no snow . . .
. . . warms the heart . . .
when it has been snowing here for the last 36 hours.
A right goodie that trip looks like.
MacEntyre ....musta seemed like a small load to tote after your winter romps this year.
Fun.
