I think that was a well written review. Every time I read one of these reviews it gets me more excited to receive my blackbird. Should be here the 16th or 17th of march.

Yeah, the weight is purely for the hammock and no tarp. I did have an old tarp incase it was raining, but I did not need to use it. I plan to get a Warbonnett tarp this spring and I will let all know how that works out.Quote:

Nice site, I haven't taken a hammock out on any bicycle tours yet. Makes me want to plan a short trip soon. I actually just pulled out my touring bicycle yesterday...
