UGQ Zepplin UQ
Hey guys...I have a few questions about my New Zeppelin.....:boggle:
First...thet me make the statement that I have NOT hung it on my hammock...YET!!!....hope to this weekend.
I have all these cord...cord that look like I attach to Ridge line or supp.....cords that draw the Ends together...and cords that draw the sides tighter....also I have clips sowed into the sides of the quilt????....about every 12 to 18 inches.....not really sure that they are for???.....
No instructions....
anyone else with a Zeppelin that could shed some insight?...or any tips about getting a good fit?
Tanks,

The little triangles down the sides are just there to give you options should you ever want to use them. The main suspension goes thru the channels on the sides of the hammock. The aux suspension is the bungee connected to the triangle fitting on the end of the hammock, that one is there to keep the UQ from sort of bunching up in the middle, it keeps it fully deployed. The ones going across the hammock ends are to close up the end to conform to your hammock and keep the drafts out, you'll prolly want these pretty snug.

Thanks Redo...
do any of you UQ guys ever use any type of "Rain" shield on the bottom of your UQ to protect form elements?

No rain shield, just a 12 x 10 tarp pitched for the weather.
I met Paul of UGQ at the FL Hang this past weekend. A great guy and makes a really nice product. Email him to get some clarification on the suspension. One is primary, and one is secondary to adjust the fit. That's what I remember from his demo of one of his UQs.

Quilt fabric is DWR so no real need for protection other than to keep it clean. Just make sure you have proper tarp setup and that drip lines are well away from quilt...

Does Zepplin work well with the bottom entry Hennessey Hammock? Or do you prefer the JRB. They appear very similar, except for the bottom entry feature on the JRB.
