The standard SF stuffsac allows the tarp to be packed quite loose / uncompressed (looking much like that pic, despite the snakeskins). I'd hazard a guess that you can squeeze the air out and compact it by about another third to a half of the size shown in the pic.
I get what you mean about photos but really it's weight that's the main issue with gear (as that's what you'll really notice when carrying it) rather than bulk (which is what you'll get from photos). Bulk is an awkward thing to wuantify as well e.g. the amount the SF will compress after going in its standard stuffsack. However, being loose in that sack makes it much easier / versatile when packing, IMO :shades:
