I am going to use baffles on my UQ, but I've seed a lot of diy TQ's that are just sewn through. This is going to be a warmish weather set up, so what would you do? The lazy side of me wants to just sew through. Will the baffles make that much of a difference in the TQ?
If it's a warm weather item, I would think sewn-through should be OK. If it was for cool-cold weather, I would go ahead and baffle.
i'v made both and i found baffles are easier then sewn through...
it's more sewing but at least you can see what you are doing ....
and i like 1 inch baffles on my summer quilts.. you never know when the temps will dip down
